| PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND: This course will present the specific requirements of the new regulation as well as proposed solutions. These NEW regulations have a major impact on the way construction is performed. | |||||||||||||||||||

| LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Changes to the recently effected Federal Regulations dealing with the design of connections for joists, column splice anchor bolts and how these changes apply to site layout and site specific erection planning. Define the responsibilities for access, concrete quality and fall protection requirements. |

| This course will include, in addition to the material to be reviewed, student assignment problems, 8 scheduled weekly live chatrooms where the student can interact live with the experienced instructor, access to bulletin boards for an exchange of ideas and comments with other students on assigned discussion topics and a final exam to verify completion of the course for NACS certificate. | |||||||||||||||||||

| This course is equivalent to a 32 hours of classroom instructions and attendees will be furnished with the new regulations and the OSHA Compliance Directive as well as course text.
